iLab = Islamic Laboratory Uganda
iLab is Uganda's online Islamic learning platform, a structured space where students learn Quran, Tajweed and the Islamic sciences through live classes with certified teachers, run by Dar Al Maswadir Islamic Foundation.
The name explained
Why “Laboratory”?
A laboratory is a space for experimentation, discovery and hands-on learning. iLab is not a passive classroom, it's an active space where students experiment with recitation, discover the sciences of Islam, and build mastery step by step.
Just as a scientist grows through repeated experiments, a student of knowledge grows through consistent, focused practice, one session at a time.

Who runs it
Run by Dar Al Maswadir Islamic Foundation
iLab is a programme of Dar Al Maswadir Islamic Foundation Uganda, based in Kampala. The foundation combines digital tools, live qualified teachers and solar-powered infrastructure to bring structured Islamic education to communities across Uganda, including areas with limited electricity and internet access.
Every class is taught live by a certified scholar. Students progress through structured courses, track their learning in a personal dashboard, and earn verifiable certificates recognised by Dar Al Maswadir and partner institutions. Meet the people behind iLab.
